Epic founder and CEO Judy Faulkner announced RWJBH’s Gold Stars 10 ranking at last week’s User Group Meeting (UGM) at Epic’s corporate headquarters in Verona, Wisconsin, before a huge audience of healthcare professionals.
“This chart clearly illustrates that this accomplishment is truly a team effort and a collaboration between IT&S, our operational leaders, as well as our clinical community,” said Jordan.
Our 2023 Gold Stars 10 achievement puts RWJBarnabas Health among the top 4% of organizations across the globe. RWJBH remains the only customer in Epic’s 44-year history to score a Gold Star 10 during an active implementation.
“This is a shared accomplishment with our Operational and Clinical colleagues with IT&S support,” said Rob Adamson, Executive Vice President & Chief Information Officer. “This historic recognition validates the approach we have taken in configuring our Epic instance that provides patient safety, care continuum, and providing our patients a voice.”
In addition to accolades to the entire team, Rob and Jordan gave special recognition to Brian Dobosh, Vice President, Digital Systems, for his dedication and perseverance in tracking our journey to 10 and contributing significantly to this achievement.
