In response to the impact of COVID-19 on the medical community, the Go-Live date for RWJBarnabas Health’s Wave 3 Epic sites has been pushed back 8 weeks to June 4, 2022.
Epic Training classes originally scheduled for January, February, and March are being shifted to March, April, and May.
All training registration through NetLearning, except for CINJ “New Hires,” is suspended until January 18.
Rescheduled training dates will be posted to individual NetLearning accounts 1/18/22.
The following is a list of frequently asked questions pertaining to registration and training:
Q: I’m scheduled for training on January 23. What should I do?
- The training team will schedule you for a new class. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RE-REGISTER YOURSELF.
- You will be notified of the date, time, and location of your new class by January 18.
- If you are available for the new class time, there is nothing more for you to do except attend training.
Q: What if I don’t like the new date I’ve been assigned?
- To change your Epic Training class, go into your NetLearning account starting January 18 to drop your new class assignment and register for another date.
Q: I was supposed to attend Template Build or Surgery Scheduler class next week. What should I do?
- The training team will schedule you for a new class. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RE-REGISTER YOURSELF.
- You will be notified of the date, time, and location of your new class by January 18.
- If you are available for the new class time, there is nothing more for you to do except attend training.
- To change your Epic Training class, go into your NetLearning account starting January 18 to drop your new class assignment and register for another date.
Q: I’m a Provider. What should I do?
- If you previously scheduled training for yourself: the Training team will reschedule you for a new class. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RE-REGISTER YOURSELF.
- Log into NetLearning on January 18 to check your newly scheduled date, time, and location of your new class.
- If you are available for the new class time, there is nothing more for you to do except attend training.
- To change your Epic Training class, go into your NetLearning account to drop your new class assignment and register for another date.
- If your department chair or section chief previously scheduled specific training dates and times for you: Your department chair/section chief will be contacted by Epic Training to reschedule your group or department training by specialty.
Q: Will Epic Training be held in Somerset?
- Beginning March 1, all classes originally scheduled for Somerset will be held at the new Training site in Metropark.
- Epic training will not be held at RWJUH Somerset after February 28.
