Who this Impacts:

  • All Wave 1 End Users
11/02/2020 - 03/26/2021
Credentialed Trainer (CT) Training

Exposing Credential Trainers to Epic in order for them to be able to train beginning users at the client site. Covers basic workflows and tasks that will be performed but does not including building or configuring the system.

Who this Impacts:

  • Wave 1 Credential Trainers
01/11/2021 - 05/08/2021
Technical Dress Rehearsal

Testing that all hardware and devices are able to access Epic and be used correctly based on purpose/workflow.

Who this Impacts:

  • Wave 1 Providers
02/15/2021 - 02/26/2021

02/25/2021
90 Day GLRA

The purpose of the Go-Live Readiness Assessment (GLRA) is to review all areas of the Epic project (both for the project team and operational readiness) to understand the status of each component of the project and identify areas where leadership intervention is needed.

Who this Impacts:

  • Project Team
  • Operational Owners
03/01/2021 - 03/26/2021
Super User Training

Training super users on RWJBH’s Epic build and configuration. Super Users will serve as your first line of defense for end-user at-the-elbow support at go-live, and are fundamental to successful end-user adoption of the system. Super User training will prepare identified Super Users to support end users both in classroom training pre-live, and as at-the-elbow support post-live.

Who this Impacts:

  • Wave 1 Super Users
03/01/2021 - 03/26/2021
Provider Training Begins

All providers and clinical care team members will complete Epic training ahead of Go-Live. Training includes virtual instructor led training (VILT) and guided, open labs (LAB). Training requirements are set by how the end user will interact with Epic, such as scheduling appointments, billing, placing orders and reconciling a patient’s medications.

Who this Impacts:

  • Wave 1 Providers
03/25/2021
60 Day GLRA

The purpose of the Go-Live Readiness Assessment (GLRA) is to review all areas of the Epic project (both for the project team and operational readiness) to understand the status of each component of the project and identify areas where leadership intervention is needed.

Who this Impacts:
